what’s up, plus saints days

I’ve been pouring candles tonight — my kitchen smells like patchouli and black pepper.  For those in the know, this is a good time to get fresh supplies!

I’ll be going out of town next week, so work that needs an altar “setting” should be started this weekend.

Yesterday was the Feast of St. Nicholas of Asia Minor, good for cases involving children and care of the young.  His relics are in Italy.

Today (the 7th, for another minute!) is the Feast of St. Ambrose, confessor.  He wrote Latin hymns.
