status update

I am back home, but I came home to a printer that was crapping out and a bad phone line. I now have a new printer but still no phone line and no internet connection. I will find a place to check email tomorrow but there are several hundred messages, so I’ll just be skimming subject lines for emergencies or deadlines. If you want to send a little phone company juju my way it’d be much appreciated this has been a crazy year so far on a number of fronts, and every time I think “surely things will start going more smoothly now,” there’s another little surprise around the corner. My sincere thanks to those who have been patiently waiting on me, and my sincere apologies to those who have lost their patience. Merc has been retrograde *all year* for me this year!
